We Now Sell 100% Recycled Shipping Boxes
Buy Recycled Shipping Boxes HereWe were really surprised at how hard it was to secure these 50% recycled boxes. We knew we wanted new shipping boxes with the most recycled content possible. As a paper company executive I thought, mistakenly, that most brown corrugated boxes would certainly be recycled. Not so.
We also needed boxes with double thick walls to make sure that we were protecting our paper and envelope shipments to the best of our ability. We know that nothing is more frustrating than to receive an order you've waited for only to find it damaged. Anyway, to make a long story short we now have these great boxes and use this as another example of our ongoing commitment to sustainable practices.
I am personally very serious about this process and I have instructed our managers to examine all of our processes and vendors and to make real changes to our business with the goal to lessen our impact on the environment. I believe that many small initiatives like ours will make a meaningful impact and help to maintain a healthy planet for future generations.
I hope you agree.

Great story, I'm also in the same situation as you were and am hoping you can help. Would you mind providing me with information to your box supplier?
Thank you!

OK, I give up, how do you find the sizes of boxes that are available?
And pricing?
Thank you,

Hi Dana,
Sorry we don't sell these boxes we use them. We had to have them especially made for us. We can supply these on a special order basis requiring about 3,000 boxes per size.

My name is Joy and I work for a California based tile company (Fireclay Tile) manufacturing green tile (52% post-consumer recycled product) and green slab counters (80% post-consumer product). I am researching recycled corrugated boxes for marketing and merchandising as we are in need of corrugated boxes for our tile "chip-kits". We offer over 115 colors and chip-kits consist of 2x2 tiles. Each chip-kit box (with tiles) weighs about 10lbs. and currently measures 13" x 9.75" x 2.25". We are also looking for a "sleeve" for the chip-kit or possibly a "Magazine Literature File" type box so that the chip-kit can be stored vertically.
I haven't had much luck finding recycled-product corrugated boxes to suit our purpose. Any information or contacts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Hi Joy,
check back with me before the end of June 2008. We are moving forward with our current supplier to make even better recycled boxes easy to buy in almost any quantity.
We're making so that you can easily order on line with printing.
Check back with me.
Best,
Brian

Any update?!
I am searching for small-ish boxes to ship my beauty products in. I am so surprised at how difficult it is to find shipping materials made from recycled content!
Thank you!

Hi Amanda,
Hold on we're getting very close to going live with our recycled box program. It could be just a few more weeks from June 19, 2008.

Hi,
I'm very happy to have found this post - we are a small handmade tile & tableware company with a strong commitment to sustainability - and like everyone here we were so surprised at how difficult it is to find recycled packing products. As I said we are small - as are many eco-entrepreneurs - and we need to be able to order small batches -- any updates on what you are doing would be greatly appreciated.
