Valentine Treat Box

Created by: Stephanie Klauck

Every year for Valentine's Day, my kids like to have fun and make little treat boxes for all of their classmates. We usually do a few different ones for variety, decide on a few colors and then we get to work. This year they decided on 3 different templates. With a little bit of stamping and some great papers, they were able to make some really cute treat boxes that their friends are sure to love!

Other Supplies:

  • American Crafts Stamps
  • Hero Arts Stamps
  • Colorbox Chalk Ink
  • Ribbon

Instructions:

Pick out some templates for your treat boxes and cut them out. (You can use cut-out templates that you trace onto your cardstock or cut them out with a die-cutting machine.)

Once the template is cut out, pick out a stamp and stamp the entire treat box. If your stamp isn't big enough to cover the whole surface, keep stamping until you've covered it.

For the red box, instead of just stamping with colored ink, I stamped with embossing ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I also cut a heart out of the top of the box and replaced the space with vellum for added interest.
