Below, you'll find valuable information about our shipping policies, including estimated shipping times, order tracking, address updates, eco-shipping materials and much more. Find out how you can receive free shipping on your purchases when you order through The Paper Mill Store. We use UPS shipping as our primary parcel carrier and USPS for sample and swatchbook deliveries. If you have any questions regarding your shipment that aren't answered here, please give us a call.

Free Shipping

We are pleased to offer FREE UPS Ground service for parcel shipping within the contiguous United States and Canada when you place an order of $149 or more (after discounts have been applied).

Exceptions include: Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Yukon Territory

Samples and swatch books always ship free via USPS.

Estimating Shipping

Shipping cost is based on weight, dimensions, distance and level of service. Ground service is fast, reliable and the least expensive.

Shipping & Delivery Times

In stock items ship from our Neenah, WI fulfillment center within 24 hrs of receiving your order (excluding weekends and holidays). Typically, orders placed by 1:00 pm central time, Monday through Friday, ship same day for in stock items.

Due to COVID-19 challenges, shipping may be delayed

Orders that contain both in stock and out of stock items, will ship complete once all products are available. If you require a partial shipment to meet your project deadlines, your order can be split for a nominal $25 fee.

Your order may ship via UPS or common carrier truck at our discretion. All shipping transit times are estimates provided by our carriers and are calculated on transit during business days. The Paper Mill Store does not guarantee delivery dates. Many circumstances beyond our warehouse (and therefore beyond our control) can affect shipping deliveries. You can be sure that we will always do our best to get you your paper and envelopes when you want them.

When you have a project schedule please make sure to add this to your order within "Special Instructions" and we will use this information to do our best to meet your schedule. Rural and remote areas of the country sometimes experience longer delivery schedules and should be taken into account in your project planning.

All shipping transit times are estimates provided by UPS and are calculated on business days.

The Paper Mill Store cannot guarantee delivery dates and times beyond the guarantees provided by our parcel carriers. Many circumstances beyond our warehouse, and therefore beyond our control, can affect shipping deliveries. Your confidence in our company and services is very important to us. You can be sure that we will always do our best to get your paper and envelopes to you when you need them.

Order Tracking

When your order ships from our warehouse we'll send you a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number embedded. You can simply follow the link within your shipping confirmation email and enter your tracking number. You'll get updated information as to where your shipment is currently located and the expected delivery date.

Address Changes

Can I change my delivery address after placing my order?

Yes, we can change your delivery address based on the following:

If your order hasn’t shipped, please contact our customer service team at cs@thepapermillstore.com to provide the corrected address or reply to your order confirmation. There is no extra charge for this service.

If your order has already shipped, please contact our customer service team at 800-790-8767 with your order number. We would be happy to research with the carrier to see if we are able to revise your address. If we are able to make the revision, you would be responsible for any additional correction fees as assessed by the carrier.

Shipping Options

Parcel Shipments

We use UPS as our main parcel carrier and USPS for all sample and swatchbook deliveries. Expedited shipping options are also available.

LTL Shipments

Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipments are used for larger orders. Destinations for larger orders must be able to accept trucks.

For all LTL shipments, it is your responsibility to inspect the shipment upon delivery. If damage is visible, it must be noted on the delivery receipt and with the driver of the freight carrier. Failure to notate damages may result in less or no reimbursement for the loss of product.

Ship on Your Account

We offer shipping with FedEx and other common carriers when you use your own shipping account. This option is available during checkout.

Eco-Shipping Materials

We carefully choose the materials we use to ship your packages.

We strive to reduce the amount of material we use in each order but at the same time make sure that your paper and envelope order will arrive in perfect condition.

50% Recycled Boxes

For packing materials we use:

  • 50% recycled fiber shipping boxes
  • 13% recycled plastic filler

We use very high quality packing materials. Please re-use them.

We're proud to supply our northern neighbors with paper, envelopes and more.

Free Shipping Options

We are pleased to offer FREE UPS Ground service for parcel shipping to Canada when you place an order of $149 or more (after discounts have been applied).

Canada Duties and Clearance Fees

Canada shipments are usually subject to duties and import related fees which are your sole responsibility.
Please be aware of these charges as they can be substantial. You should check with your local UPS center for complete information. Refused orders will not be refunded. We always state the actual value of the product you are purchasing on the packing slip."

International Shipping

We are pleased to offer our products to international customers beyond USA and Canada.

  • International orders must be a minimum of $250
  • All payments must be received and cleared by us in advance of shipment
  • We accept wire transfers only.

International customers do not qualify for free shipping beyond USA borders. What this means is that with your minimum order we will ship your products free of charge to your USA destination of choice. This is a benefit to customers who consolidate orders or who use freight forwarding services. All customs fees and duties are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Large Item Surcharge

Effective Dec 14, 2021 - A large item surcharge of $175.00 will be applied to all orders meeting the following conditions:

  • The order is shipping to a Canadian address
  • The order total is less than $600.00
  • The order contains one or more items with a shortest dimension (width or height) greater than 18 inches
